    Guarantor Requirement

    For 26-27 AY:- 1. If you want to pay your rent in instalments, we accept both UK and International guarantors. This is someone who is willing to sign a contract saying they’ll pay your rent if you fail to do so. Your guarantor cannot be another student or a government. 2. In the circumstances where you do not have a guarantor, you can register with Housing Hand who will act as guarantor subject to meeting their terms and conditions. 3. Alternatively, you will need to pay your rent for the whole Licence Agreement/AST in advance.

    Booking Deposit

    For 26-27 AY:- An advance rent payment £100 is required to allocate a room. This amount is deducted from the first instalment or payment, which is due before the tenancy start date. Please note: Advance rent is non refundable.

    Yes, dual occupancy is available in most rooms over 23 sqm. Both occupants must apply and indicate that they are applying for dual occupancy. The total rent will include an additional £50 per week, divided equally between both occupants unless otherwise stated.

    Yes, during the application process you’ll be asked questions to help determine the type of room or flat you require, including any special requests. The management team aims to accommodate preferences when possible, though they cannot be guaranteed—except in cases relating to a disability covered under the Equality Act 2010, in which case allocation needs will be prioritized where feasible.

    Can I book a room if I’m under 18?

    Yes, if you turn 18 during your first semester, you can book at properties with 24/7 security. An adult over 18 must co-sign the tenancy agreement and accept its terms. Students under 18 may be accepted in some properties, subject to the Property’s Policy for Students under the Age of 18.

    Can I have a package delivered before I arrive?

    Yes, you can arrange for a package to arrive before your arrival so that it is waiting for you when you check in.

    Is parking available at the property?

    Some properties offer car parking facilities for a small charge. Please speak to the property team directly if you would like to reserve a parking space.

    What do I need to bring when picking up my keys?

    You will need to bring photographic ID (such as a passport or driver’s license) when collecting your keys.

    When will I get my deposit back?

    Your deposit will be returned after the tenancy ends and the room is inspected. The amount returned will depend on any outstanding charges or damage assessment.

    Is my deposit protected?

    Yes, your deposit is held securely in a government-authorized deposit protection scheme and will be returned at the end of your tenancy, subject to the terms of your lease.

    Are virtual viewings available?
